With a background in graphic design, I started Mookie in 2022 as a creative outlet to give my eyes a break from the computer screen. I wanted to get back into the jewelry making I loved as a kid.

I started collecting fun, thrifted jewelry and loved how they added the unique edge to the designs. Plus the sustainable aspect of it was starting to be very important to me.
